Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Provider to join our team in delivering high-quality, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate care to infants, children, and adolescents. The provider will conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses, prescribe medications, and partner with families to support the health and well-being of our patients.
Spanish-speaking ability is preferred to better serve our diverse patient community but is not required .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform routine well-child exams and monitor growth and development milestones.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions in pediatric patients.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment decisions.
- Prescribe and administer medications, vaccinations, and other therapies.
- Counsel patients, parents, and guardians on nutrition, hygiene, activity, safety, and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Strong knowledge of child health, epidemiology, and infectious diseases.Proficiency in pediatric diagnostic and treatment principles, including age-appropriate medications and potential side effects.Familiarity with traditional and web-based prescription systems.Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Compassionate, patient-centered approach with effective communication skills.Ability to remain organized, adaptable, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.QUALIFICATIONS :
Current licensure as an APRN or PA-C .Valid Florida license to practice medicine.Florida Medicaid license required.POSITION DETAILS :
