Responsibilities :
Responsible for maintaining the yarn supply fed to the tufting machine involving unpacking yarn, loading it into the creel, splicing the ends together, and removing empty cones.
Responsible for feeding correct yarns into the tufting machine.
Expected to maintain all housekeeping items and follow all housekeeping procedures associated with the position.
Responsible for lifting or moving heavy objects.
Operate the beamer at maximum possible efficiency, ensuring that a quality warp is produced in the safest manner possible.
Repair all end breaks
De-creel empty packages and creel full packages
Check warps and make necessary adjustments when needed to insure warp quality
Adjust beam head width for correct style
Make style changes as required including creel work
Notify mechanic and / or supervisor of and mechanical or electrical failures
Maintain finish tray with adequate amount of lubrication
Maintain good housekeeping at beamer
Education / Knowledge / Experience :
Basic English grammar and math skills.
Competencies :
Ability to be an effective team member.
Good analytical and organizational skills
