Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location : Portland, ME 04102 – Maine healthcare jobs

Assignment Type : Travel Radiology Technologist

Healthcare Setting : Imaging Department (70 Licensed Beds)

Start Date : December 30, 2025

End Date : March 28, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shifts : Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday; 9 : 30 PM – 7 : 00 AM (8-hour night shifts)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,100 – $2,260

Electronic Medical Record : Cerner EMR

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Active ARRT (R) certification – required for radiology jobs

Maine State Radiologic Technologist license – required for Maine healthcare positions

BLS certification preferred

Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist

Experience with imaging modalities : Vascular, MRI, CT, Dexa, Diagnostic (preferred)

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities

Ensure patient safety and comfort during all radiology procedures

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver outstanding patient care

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner EMR

Follow departmental protocols and regulatory requirements

Participate in orientation and ongoing training as needed
