License : Iowa State License

Certifications : ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS

Must-Have : Completed at least one travel contract

Description :

This position offers same-day interviews.

Qualified candidates should prepare for a call from a (405) area code.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

The traveler must be more than 50 miles from market.

Patient ratio is 1 : 5.

Patient population includes cardiac care such as CHF, angiogram before and after care, ablation, pacemaker, TEE, cardioversion, stroke, and management of cardiac drips.

Drugs managed include nitroglycerin, amiodarone, cardizem, nirdipine, heparin, and lidocaine.

Titration is required for drug administration.

Travelers will be required to work two of three winter holidays : Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving.

A limit of one day request off is in place between designated holiday timeframes.

One supervisory reference is required at the time of submission.

Proof of taxable address is needed to verify bill rate in accordance with local traveler policy.
