BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Design Specialist Executive Director for an opportunity in Jersey City, NJ!

Position Title : Design Specialist Executive Director

Location : New York, NY 10172

Anticipated Start Date : Tentative Start Date

Expected Duration : 12 months contract to hire.

Job Type : Contract to hire, [On-Site]

Pay Range : $71 - $79 per hour

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description :

Job responsibilities :

• 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in user experience design, interaction design, or related fields
• Hands-on experience applying the Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) framework in technical and product environments, with a track record of translating user jobs into actionable design and product strategies.
• Demonstrated expertise in information architecture and visual design, with a portfolio of aesthetically appealing and functional digital products
• Proven history of developing innovative user experiences across various platforms and channels
• Expert technical knowledge, with an advanced understanding of the impact of client-side technologies, APIs, and the technology stack on user experience
• Experience with enterprise-scale design systems or governance preferred
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries preferred
• Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
• Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills. Ability to crisply articulate complex tough messages to senior audiences with poise and confidence.
