JOB SUMMARY
Provides high level Finance and Transformation support to executive leadership, multiple corporate departments, operations finance, and / or other areas of the business. Support includes modeling short- and long-term initiatives, financial results, forecast preparation, and presentation to management. Also assists the departments with cost saving and revenue generating initiative pipeline progression including business case verification, timeline reviews, and actuals tracking.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist various stakeholders with planning, executing, monitoring, completion and maintenance of all cost saving and revenue generating initiatives.
- Prepare / review financial analysis models and business cases for all potential cost saving or revenue generating initiatives.
- Identify areas of opportunity for cost reducing or revenue generating initiatives / best practices.
- Assist in monthly actuals tracking activities such as, review, research and preparation of monthly variance explanations to Management. Subsequently, communicate material variances to Transformation Office management in a concise and succinct manner.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with initiative owners, department leaders and key support stakeholders.
- Assist initiative / project owners with resolving any impediments throughout the initiative lifecycle.
- Communicate with a wider audience outside of Finance including department leadership. Influence company leadership through the presentation of accurate and reliable data.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE : Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY : Finance, Account, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field of study
EXPERIENCE
1 - 3 years' experience in Finance, Accounting, or Transformation related work. Experience performing various types of business analysis at a high level.COMPETENCIES / SKILLS
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.Must be an organized, detail-oriented individual fluent in Microsoft Suite applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory to support working directly with upper management and operations team members. The ideal candidate will be flexible to support a variety of tasks and eager to learn new skills and concepts. Willing to take ownership of areas of responsibility.The individual must be a team player who is able to work well with team members and outside contacts.
