Job Title : Snowflake Architect

Location : NYC or Pittsburgh, PA (Local Candidates Only)

Job Description :

We are seeking a hands-on Snowflake Architect to lead the design, configuration, and optimization of data solutions using Snowflake and modern data platform technologies. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in data architecture, performance tuning, identity integration, and automation within a multi-tenant cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement advanced Snowflake features, including Listings, Native Apps, Cortex, and Streamlit.
Configure new Snowflake accounts, setup PrivateLink, and optimize cost management in multi-tenant deployments.
Build and maintain secure identity access integrations using SAML and SCIM protocols.
Lead the integration of data orchestration using Python and other automation tools.
Guide architectural decisions based on performance optimization, governance frameworks, and enterprise IT standards.
Ensure seamless integration across applications, data sources, and business functions.
Translate business requirements into technical architecture using strong analytical skills.
Mitigate risks associated with scalability, security, resiliency, and technical debt.

Mandatory Skills :

Snowflake (Advanced Configuration, Optimization, Sharing, and Marketplace)

Python (for scripting and data orchestration)

Cloud Data Services (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Spark, Big Data Frameworks

SQL and RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)

Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, or equivalent)

Experience with SAML / SCIM for Identity & Access Management

Preferred Candidates :

Local to NYC or Pittsburgh

Available for onsite or hybrid work as needed

Strong background in enterprise architecture, governance, and data platforms
