Job Title : Contract General Dentist

Location : Fort Yuma, AZ

Overview : The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking professional dental services at multiple service units in Arizona, Nevada, and California. Contracted providers will deliver comprehensive dental care, focusing on routine, emergency, and specialty treatments for a diverse patient population, including those with medically compromised conditions. Sensitivity to cross-cultural differences and the ability to work effectively through interpreters when necessary are essential.

Responsibilities :

• Provide dental services including exams, restorative treatments, oral health education, and preventive care.
• Diagnose and treat patients within professional scope and IHS standards.
• Assist in patient care processes, ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and IHS standards.
• Complete and maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Dental Record (EDR).
• Comply with Joint Commission and CMS standards in a culturally competent manner.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and adhere to IHS and service unit policies.

Credentialing and fingerprinting required before starting.

Work Hours :

$140 - $160 an hour

Compensation details : 140-160 Hourly Wage
