Job description2-5 years of experience in banking, structured finance, and / or restructuring. Proven experience working on ABS, CLOs, and project finance transactions. Strong academic credentials and excellent written / verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and efficiency. New York Bar admission required. Expected salary range : $225,000 - $235,000 per year. Salary is commensurate with experience, education, and geographic location. Overview :
Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm with an exciting full-time opportunity for a Banking / Structured Finance / Restructuring Associate in either its New York or Charlotte office. This is a dynamic practice group offering access to high-caliber work involving a diverse client base ranging from financial institutions to major corporations.
Responsibilities :
- Represent banks and other financial institutions in Structured Finance transactions.
- Provide counsel on ABS (Asset-Backed Securities) and CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligations) matters.
- Work on complex project finance transactions and loan agency matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate financial transaction documents.
- Collaborate with partners and clients on strategic deal execution.
- Maintain high-quality client service and meet demanding deadlines.
