Key Job Details - Telemetry RN Location : Kalamazoo, MI 49048 (Michigan healthcare jobs) Unit : 3N Cardiovascular Unit - Telemetry (54 beds) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Estimated Weekly Pay : $1770 - $1820 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays Scrub Color : Caribbean Blue Charting System : Cerner Powerchart Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan or compact state (or willing to obtain) Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or Cardiac RN experience required (first-time travel nurses accepted) Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (pending certifications accepted if completed before start) Experience with Cerner charting system required Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates) COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Ability to float to similar cardiac or telemetry units or affiliate hospitals as needed Strong professional conduct and reliability required Completion of up to 8 hours of pre-assignment modules prior to start Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac conditions (heart failure, STEMI / NSTEMI, stroke, arrhythmias, chest pain) Monitor patients on cardiac telemetry (remote and on-unit monitoring) Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) Perform central and peripheral line care, blood product administration, and wound care Interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases (ABGs) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response, and more Float to similar cardiac or telemetry units as needed Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner Powerchart Complete pre-assignment modules (average 3-8 hours, self-reported) Join our healthcare team in Kalamazoo and make a difference in cardiac patient care.
