Job Description :
The Integration & Test Engineering Specialist will be responsible for supporting the design development test and integration of complex specialized hardware / software systems installed on ground and airborne ISR platforms.
Essential Functions :
- Interface with other Systems Engineering Flight Line Test Product Development and Project Engineering personnel to understand new baseline functionality.
- Plan and execute integration testing in a Systems Integration Laboratory and on airborne and ground-based platforms.
- Verify and validate new baseline functionality while ensuring legacy functionality still works as intended.
- Follow existing standards to document system testing status and anomalies with the system hardware and software.
- Verify fix to anomalies.
- Interface with customer personnel to ensure their satisfaction with system performance.
- Work with management to develop and adhere to schedules and budgets required to accomplish assigned work.
- Provide regular status updates for ongoing work efforts to keep management and customers informed.
- Self-starting & able to work effectively in an independent & team environment.
- Must possess excellent organization communications and presentation skills.
- Considerable Systems or Software Engineering experience with System Interfaces.
- Work with customers systems engineers & architects to meet delivery requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential.
- Travel as needed (10% travel expected)
- Provide support regularly during ground and test flight events.
- Understand write and implement systems test plans and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree with four (4) years of Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator and Communications interfaces.Graduate Degree with two (2) years of Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator and Communications interfaces.In lieu of a degree minimum of eight (8) years of Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator and Communications interfaces.Must be able to successfully pass a Class-III Flight Physical.Must have an Active Secret clearance at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret with SCI.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Preferred Additional Skills :
Experience with IBM DOORS Requirements Management Tool.Former flying experience supporting RC-135 operations.Successfully pass a Class III Flight Physical.#LI-AH1
