We are seeking Volunteer Researchers to join our editorial team and play a vital role in shaping, strengthening, and expanding our growing library of expert-written articles.

Position Summary

As a Volunteer Researcher, you will support the Observatory’s content development by ensuring accuracy, identifying new opportunities, and helping keep our articles relevant and fresh. This is a unique opportunity to apply your research skills to a mission-driven project with global impact.

Key Responsibilities

Content Support : Conduct online research to support articles in development, ensuring accuracy, credibility, and depth.

Trend Tracking : Identify new article opportunities by analyzing reader interest and Google search trends.

Article Updates : Review published Observatory articles and add reputable, up-to-date sources to strengthen and refresh existing content.

Partnership Research : Identify potential book publishers for partnership and syndication opportunities.

Author Recruitment : Research and recommend potential new expert authors to join the Observatory.

Reference Guides : Identify and summarize useful guides and reference materials for everyday life questions relevant to our audience.

Collaboration : Work with editors, writers, and other team members to support engaging, fact-based content.

Qualifications

Strong online research skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team (via Google Meet and Google Workspace)

Previous research experience preferred

Passion for journalism, education, and the Observatory’s mission
