Description
Remedy Staffing is partnering with a company in the North Tonawanda area in search of an Inspector!
1st shift 8am-5pm flexible schedule
Pay : $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience
Job Duties :
- Ensuring the safety, quality, housekeeping, 5S and KOI performance for the assigned line or area as directed by the Supervisor or Shift Lead
- Read blueprints and specifications.
- Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials.
- Measure products with calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Operate electronic inspection equipment and software.

- High School Graduate or GED
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must have mechanical aptitude and be able to use basic hand tools
- Must have experience and knowledge in reading and understanding detailed blueprints
- Must be able to understand and use calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a Machine Operator / Inspector
