Job descriptionEnd User Support / Desktop Support : Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktop, and mobile device troubleshooting Strong verbal and written communication skills Support of primarily Microsoft 365 stack (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Azure AD) Systems Administration : Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms as well as Active Directory, Group Policy Basic understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V Understanding of networking : SDWAN, TCP / IP, LAN / DMZ / WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching and Firewalls Internal systems, cloud and network infrastructure Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications Work escalated support issues related to Microsoft’s core business solutions, WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, security, and remote access solutions. Perform network assessments, security audits and new client consultant Communication with customers as required : keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Organization skills Exemplary critical thinking and problem-solving skills A qualified applicants must have good verbal and written communications skills. Manufacturing industry experience including familiarity with market vendor applications : Plex ERP, OEM Portals, CAD, CAM software Significant experience with an MSP contribution, particularly utilizing the ConnectWise suite of products Exposure to / ability to support workloads in Cloud Hybrid Infrastructure Experience with cybersecurity solutions such as UEBA, MDR, DLP, XDR, CASB, SIEM Experience with email security gateway solutions such as Minecast or Proofpoint Experience or knowledge on frameworks such as NIST 800-171 / 172, CMMC 1.0 / 2.0, ISO27001, ISA95 Experience writing powershell, AWS or Azure Certification Experience working with an MSP Work Environment : Must be able to work in an office setting While performing duties, you will be required to sit for long periods of time and use keyboards / computer mouse for most of the day. Frequent use of hands and wrists for typing and data entry as well as kneeling, crouching / stooping, walking, reaching overhead or below. Moving, pushing / pulling, and lifting / carrying objects up to 15lbs. Must be able to provide visual acuity Must be able to perform repetitive movements daily.
