Payroll Manager

A growing company is seeking a hands-on Payroll Manager to fully own payroll operations, ensure strong compliance, and lead an upcoming payroll system conversion. This is a stand-alone role with no direct reports , ideal for someone who thrives in an independent function, communicates clearly, and takes initiative.

What You'll Do

• Manage all aspects of bi-weekly payroll, including commissions, bonuses, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate employee data, timekeeping, deductions, garnishments, and payroll documentation.
• Lead the company's payroll system conversion (Paycom ideal), including testing, process mapping, and go-live support.
• Oversee prevailing wage and LCP compliance requirements.
• Partner with Finance, HR, and Operations to resolve payroll issues and support cross-functional needs.
• Produce payroll and commission reports; assist with year-end filings and audit support.
• Identify areas to streamline and improve payroll processes.
