Senior Project Accountant for Architect Firm
Creative Financial Staffing of New York is currently working with a prominent global Architectural firm located in Midtown and they are seeking a Project Accountant to join their team.

About the position :
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial, project, and management reporting data
- Prepare, review, and maintain Initial Budget Worksheets and Plans
- Set up new projects in ERP system, review contracts and proposals
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of fees and expenses billed to clients
- Fee Forecasting, including budget to actual comparisons
- Review and approve all consultant invoices, including reviews of unbilled expenses
- Billing / Accounts Receivable - assist in production of monthly invoices to clients, assist AR position in collections and applying cash
- Handle quarterly and annual closings as they relate to revenue recognition
- Additional ad hoc responsibilities
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Professional services industry, especially Architecture and Engineering a plus
- Familiarity with various ERP systems as well as strong Excel skills
- Experience with Deltek Vision a huge plus
- Detail Oriented, self sufficient and with great communication
