- Carefully disassemble and reassemble important machinery and pumps, ensuring they meet hygiene standards.
- Comprehend and apply equipment instructions, manuals, and safety guidelines meticulously.
- Record all required data accurately, keeping track of sanitation metrics.
- Maintain spotless work areas, removing trash and ensuring a tidy environment.
- Handle additional responsibilities as they arise, contributing to the team’s overall success.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize production zones, packaging areas, and critical equipment, including walls, ceilings, and exterior plant areas as necessary.
- Perform crucial food safety tests such as titration levels and various microbial swabs to ensure product integrity.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a sanitation role within a production setting is a plus.
- Familiar with operating specialized cleaning equipment after sufficient training, including but not limited to floor scrubbers and lifts.
- Demonstrates the ability to follow complex procedures and work effectively under minimal supervision.
- Work within a manufacturing environment with exposure to diverse machinery, noise, and either very warm or refrigerated conditions.
- Must be capable of standing for most of the shift and lifting items between 40 lbs unassisted and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
