Cimarron is seeking a senior-level HVAC Mechanical Engineer to support the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the US Air Forces Sentinel program (GBSD) in Ogden UT. Cimarron provides engineering and technical support to Bechtel for the design construction and integration of the Sentinel launch infrastructure at locations to include Vandenberg AFB CA F.E. Warren AFB WY Malmstrom AFB MT and Minot AFB ND. Sentinel is a vital nuclear modernization program that will recapitalize the nations aging ground based leg of the nuclear triad the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). This is an on-site position that offers a 9X80 work schedule (i.e. every other Friday off) paid overtime and a great work / life balance. For candidates not local to the Ogden area a relocation allowance can be provided.

Key Duties :

• Collect the HVAC safety and other data and requirements for HVAC and / or other support systems.
• Design the system and specify the equipment to meet the applicable design requirements.
• Procure the equipment in accordance with applicable QA requirements.
• Coordinate with the engineering group and other disciplines in developing the detailed system design and specifying equipment in a team environment.
• Prepare reports and studies in resolving open technical issues related to the process systems.
• Develop and revise ventilation and instrument diagrams formal calculations and equipment datasheets and specifications in completing the detailed design for the system including equipment selection.
• Support the associated safety analyses and hazards evaluations.
