About The Position

Bon Secours – Richmond Specialty Care in Emporia, VA, is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician for part-time outpatient coverage. You’ll be working independently in a family medicine setting, seeing a diverse patient population with a consistent schedule and strong clinical support. Quick start and high priority placement!

Key Highlights

Adult, pediatric, newborn, and geriatric care

20 patients / day average

Clinic-based only – no hospital call, inpatient, or ED backup

Procedures include suturing, I&D, pelvic exams (preferred but not required)

Services on-site : lab, phlebotomy, POC testing

Job Requirements

✅ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

✅ Active Virginia Medical License (or in-process with quick turnaround)

✅ BLS Certification

✅ Comfortable with outpatient family medicine scope

✅ No supervision responsibilities
