Location : Yuma, Arizona (85364) – Arizona healthcare jobs

Shift : 12-hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Number of Openings : 3 ICU RN positions

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license – Arizona RN jobs

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience in a Level I or II trauma hospital

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Proficiency with Epic EMR

Experience with critical care drips : vasopressors, inotropes, antiarrhythmics, sedatives, paralytics, analgesics, anticoagulants, insulin

Ability to titrate drips and manage ventilated patients

Flexibility to float to other units as needed

ICU RN Responsibilities – Critical Care Nursing

Deliver high-quality patient care in a 42-bed ICU with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 (MedSurg ICU), or 1 : 3 if no vents / drips

Manage patients with complex diagnoses : cardiac (open heart, balloon, impella), trauma, sepsis, DKA, CHF, respiratory, post-tPA

Titrate and administer a wide range of critical care medications and drips

Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Assist with bedside procedures and work closely with respiratory therapists

Document care accurately in Epic EMR

Float to other units as needed, maintaining safe patient ratios

Participate in orientation and ongoing competency training
