Job Responsibilities :
- Review and execute physician’s prescriptions, ensuring their appropriateness and legality.
- Organize the pharmacy efficiently to facilitate the identification of products.
- Maintain full control over delivering, stocking, and labelling medications and other products.
- Monitor medication conditions to prevent expiration or deterioration.
- Listen carefully to customers, interpret their needs, and provide information and advice.
- Assist with other medical services, such as injections and blood pressure / temperature measurements.
- Keep records of patient history and activities related to heavy medication usage.
- Stay updated on advancements in medicine by attending conferences and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications :
- A doctoral degree in pharmacy.
- Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
- Knowledgeable about toxicology, biopharmaceuticals, pharmacy law, and ethics.
- Ability to handle different medications and perform duties specific to hospital settings.
