Maintenance Technician

About the Community : 2300 West is a 220-unit community located in Reno NV that offers residents access to onsite amenities including a swimming pool outdoor grilling area and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

About the Role : Northland is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to complete maintenance service requests and work orders including but not limited to HVAC electrical pool maintenance plumbing carpentry painting and housekeeping items. This role will also complete apartments turnovers for scheduled move-ins in a timely manner while working safely and efficiently.

Northlands maintenance team always maintains the highest level of professionalism and customer service when working with our residents vendors and guests. As part of our promise to deliver a top-tier experience to our residents maintenance team members are required to handle after-hours emergency calls and be on-call as needed including nights and weekends.

Qualifications and Requirements : The individual must possess the following knowledge skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation using some other combination of skills and abilities.

• Previous experience in general maintenance plumbing carpentry electrical HVAC and painting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff residents and vendors.
• All maintenance employees are required to have their own hand tools to carry out job functions - other power tools will be provided.
• Travel may be required to assist other properties as needed or to attend training classes.
• Must be able to work nights weekend and holiday shifts as part of the on-call responsibility.
