About The Position

Pay Rate : $44.00 - $48.00 / Hourly.

Summary : A Polysomnographer (Sleep Tech) helps diagnose sleep disorders by monitoring patients during sleep studies. They set up equipment, place sensors on patients, and record information about brain waves, breathing, heart rate, and body movements. During the study, they watch the data, make sure everything is working correctly, and help keep the patient safe. Afterward, they score the sleep data and prepare reports for the doctor.

Responsibilities :

• Perform overnight polysomnographic sleep studies on patients to monitor sleep patterns, brain activity, oxygen levels, heart rate, muscle activity, and respiratory effort.
• Set up and calibrate equipment, ensuring that all monitoring devices are functioning properly.
• Apply sensors and electrodes to patients in accordance with standard procedures to collect accurate data.
• Monitor patient condition throughout the night, ensuring safety and comfort during the sleep study.
