PCU Travel Nurse Job Details

Unit : Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Start Date : October 20, 2025

End Date : January 19, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Guaranteed Hours : 24 per week

On-Call : Schedule determined by facility

Weekend Schedule : To be determined by facility

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990-$2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN experience required

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or compact state (RN jobs in Arizona)

Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)

No license hits or disciplinary actions

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Flu vaccination required (declinations considered with documentation)

Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license are not eligible

Must meet facility-specific background check requirements

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care as a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions

Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed interventions

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery, and health management

Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care activities

Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and healthcare compliance standards
