The Sr. Specialist, Sales & Service Support

The Sr. Specialist, Sales & Service Support will be the primary point of contact for existing clients handling inbound calls as well as proactive outreach. This is a phone based internal position where the incumbent will manage incoming customer calls, as well as temporarily support clients transitioning to Financial Consultants. This role will require handling inbound calls, and providing outstanding service solutions to meet clients' financial needs.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Handle inbound calls from clients, responding efficiently and accurately.
  • Enhance client satisfaction through proactive understanding of the client's needs and objectives while providing appropriate support around the client investment / insurance service needs and maintaining consistent with compliance and operations standards.
  • Proactive daily client management of operational items.
  • Responsible for identifying cross sell opportunities for branch based Financial Consultants to drive organic growth and increased wallet share of existing clients through a differentiated client experience.
  • Continually build knowledge and capabilities within client segment and stay current with competitive trends.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable bank, broker / dealer, State and Federal regulations associated with the sale of investment and insurance products including Santander Policy Statement governing the sale of uninsured products.
  • Maintain required professional training and license requirements, including knowledge of FINRA compliance, FDIC compliance, the Bank's uninsured Products Policy Statement and all applicable state and federal regulations.

What You Bring

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance preferred or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independently.
  • Experience and comfort with phone-based support, with history of financial or investment product support.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to explain complex information in a simple and concise manner, verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements to ensure a sound control environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sales support and effective sales enhancement techniques within the industry.
  • Ability to work independently and set appropriate priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and evaluative skills with ability to measure program performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Vendor relationship experience helpful.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Self motivator and creative thinker.
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation skills and writing ability.
  • Maintains appropriate sales licensing.
  • P.C. software applications (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Certifications

    FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 (or 66) Securities Licenses and Life / Health Insurance licenses.

    It Would Be Nice For You To Have

    Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education. Experience in Microsoft Office products.

    What Else You Need To Know

    The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

    Base Pay Range Minimum : $58,125.00 USD Maximum : $92,500.00 USD
