About your new role : As our IT Director of Applications, you will lead the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of enterprise applications across all Prent locations. You'll be responsible for improving existing systems, building IT capabilities, and enabling future innovation through AI and data-driven decision-making. This role is hands-on, strategic, and deeply integrated with our business operations.

Duties and responsibilities : Quickly learn Prent's business processes and challenges to effectively engage with all departments. Lead the disciplined implementation of our ERP system, ensuring alignment with business needs. Develop and deliver training programs to build IT proficiency so employees can fully utilize systems. Ensure all systems are thoroughly tested by selected users before launch. Evaluate and improve existing systems, resolving issues and optimizing performance. Champion a service-oriented IT culture focused on meeting internal customer needs. Inspire and elevate the applications / development teams to adopt modern platforms and practices. Bring AI-forward thinking with experience in data mapping, integration, and architecture. Design systems with a user-centered product mindset to maximize usability and adoption. Balance humility and curiosity with vision, listening and learning while guiding the team forward. Leverage manufacturing IT experience to blend operational credibility with innovation.

What you need : Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Proven experience leading ERP implementations and managing enterprise applications. Strong background in IT within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving change. Experience with AI technologies, data architecture, and integration strategies. Proven leadership skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to positively work as part of a team.
