IT Lab Consultant - Huntsville, AL (Onsite)

A minimum of 5 years related work experience is required with practical work experience as a Lab Specialist in a life sciences organization.

Strong core IT background with a focus in PC / lab instrument integration accompanied with knowledge of GxP laboratory information systems.

Experience in Infrastructure, Desktops and network switches, server hardware, and data centers.

Knowledge of the validation lifecycle of lab GxP computerized systems is a plus

Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve problems and ability to effectively apply a broad range of professional concepts, practices and methods in moderately complex and diverse circumstances are required.

Experience in setting up the PCs, connecting them with the instruments, trouble shooting of network and port issues.

Experience in installing the software on the PCs and connecting with instruments and testing.

Good communication skills. Must be able to work independently and efficiently on several tasks at once
