State Licensed Medical Director

A company is looking for a Medical Director / Physician Reviewer.

Key Responsibilities

Review hospital medical records for DRG Clinical Validation and other review activities

Develop and update clinical validation criteria and model language for review activities

Participate in quality assurance and training / on-boarding of new Medical Directors

Required Qualifications

MD / DO degree from an accredited medical school with relevant postgraduate training

Five or more years of clinical practice experience is mandatory

Active, valid medical licensure in at least one U.S. state

Current Board certification by an appropriate medical board

Must be located within a U.S. state territory during reviews
