Job Description & Requirements Specialty : MRI Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 01 / 06 / 2026 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : MRI Tech Job Details : Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM Schedule : Friday through Sunday Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required First time travelers accepted if they meet minimum experience requirements Previous charge experience required Required certifications : ARMRIT or ARRT MR, BLS EPIC charting system experience required PACS and Siemens equipment experience required Must be proficient in adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ED trauma Pediatric acute care experience preferred Extensive anatomy coverage required including abdomen, chest, brain, extremities, and spine Must be skilled in isolation precautions, contrast media preparation / administration, and starting peripheral IVs Advanced imaging techniques required : Gradient Echo imaging, MIP, Spin Echo images, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences Subject to floating to any campus if needed Compliance deadline : 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date Must complete non-billable modules during orientation (2-4 hours average) Facility : This regional medical center is part of a comprehensive healthcare system that provides advanced imaging services including state-of-the-art MRI technology.
