We are currently hiring QA Inspectors. We have Day Shift (7am - 3 : 30pm) and Swing Shift (3 : 30pm - 12am) positions available. Swing Shift availability preferred.

Primary Responsibilities :

Preforms visual inspection of post-solder dipped components BGAs CGAs and others at required quality check points (Incoming Inspection QA Gate and Final QA) and ensures that products conform to requirements

Performs incoming inspection of critical materials

Represents the customer by ensuring that the requirements are met

Generates Certificate of Conformances (C of Cs) and identifies exceptions

Understands work instructions inspection criteria documents and manufacturing instructions

Generates Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and determines immediate dispositions

Escalates NCRs or other quality issues as needed

Serves as a quality Material Review Board (MRB)

Monitors production activities to ensure procedures are followed and retrains production personnel as needed

Performs daily weekly monthly and quarterly audits

Presents problems or inefficiencies with a recommended solution to the supervisor / manager

Participates in implementing efficiency improvements and solutions

Protects company proprietary information

Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications :

High School Diploma; AA or AS Degree Preferred

Minimum 3 years QA QC or Visual inspection experience in PCB or semiconductor packaging industry or equivalent

Must be a US person (i.e. Citizen or Permanent Resident)

Skilled in microscope and reticle use

Skilled in measuring tools (calipers micrometer toolmakers scope optical comparator etc.)

Knowledge of quality control systems

Knowledge of microelectronic packaging and solder defects

Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel etc.)

Detail oriented; ability to perform repetitive tasks thoroughly and efficiently without error

Mechanically inclined is a plus

Chemical safety and awareness is a plus

Hand / finger dexterity (able to handle small components)

No physical sensitivities or limitations to chemicals handling

Physical Attributes Required :

Stand lift push bend

20 / 20 vision with or without corrective lenses
