Position Summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a motivated AI Engineer with strong software professional with 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI / ML, cloud engineering, backend systems and infrastructure as code. The role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing intelligent, data-driven solutions to improve healthcare enterprise systems, and customer experiences.

In this role, you will bring foundational data science skills paired with hands-on experience deploying models in highly compliant cloud platform, working alongside product teams, analysts, and UX designers to turn requirements into reliable, performant solutions. Your focus will be building production-grade AI systems that are secure, maintainable, and easy to scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Development : Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to containerize, deploy, and monitor AI / ML models.
• Infrastructure-as-code : Design, build, manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform to support scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AI workloads.
• Manage AI Services : Deploy and manage AI services preferably on AWS (e.g., SQS, Lamda, ECS / EKS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Backend Integration : Connect AI Services to backend systems and services via RESTful APIs, leveraging authentication, session management, and error handling best practices.
• Platform Engineering : Architect and implement multi-channel support (chat, voice) to ensure consistent experiences across platforms.
• Code Quality & Testing : Write clean, efficient, testable code. Develop unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Performance Monitoring : Use analytics tools to track AI Services performance, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Platform engineers, QA testers, and product managers to align development with business goals.

The pay range for this position is $147,200.00 - $210,300.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
