About the role :

Advanced Veterinary Specialists is seeking a full-time overnight Veterinary Technician to join the ER team.

Duties and responsibilities you may own in this role :

• Triage and prioritize incoming patients
• Stabilize patients in critical condition
• Assist with diagnostic procedures
• Administer medications and fluids
• Provide wound care and post-surgical support
• Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities
• Assist during surgeries and emergency procedures
• Communicate with pet owners
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitization
• Educate pet owners on aftercare
• Collaborate with the veterinary team
• Stay updated through continuing education
• Offer compassion and emotional support to patients and owners.

Compensation range $28.00 - $35.00 hourly plus $2 differential for any hours worked between 6pm-6am.

$1,000 sign-on bonus for new full-time overnight ER employees !
