Senior z / VSE Mainframe Programmer

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer - VSE.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support for installation, testing, and implementation of z / VSE operating systems and software

Monitor and tune systems software while mentoring team members

Facilitate software releases / upgrades and collaborate with various departments and clients

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in mainframe systems programming

Fluency in VSE JCL and knowledge of ISV and IBM z / VSE software installation and administration

Experience with IBM Z hardware and general networking concepts

Familiarity with application environments including RPG, COBOL, Assembler, and REXX

Working knowledge of z / VM including CP and CMS
