Travel RN – Neuro-Progressive Care Unit – Nights

Location : Albany, NY

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks

Start Date : 12 / 1

Shift : Nights, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Experience Required : Minimum 2 years

Epic Experience : Required

Weekends : Every other

Holidays : Rotating

Requirements :

Current RN license (NY)

BLS and ACLS required

Must have Neuro-Progressive / Stepdown or ICU experience

Unit Details :

The Neuro-Progressive Care Unit provides care for patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions requiring frequent monitoring and advanced nursing assessment. RNs should be competent in :

Neurological assessments

Managing stroke, seizure, and post-operative neuro / spine patients

Titrating drips, telemetry interpretation, and advanced airway management

Environment :

Collaborative, high-acuity setting

Strong emphasis on critical thinking and rapid response
