Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care & Gastro - Queens & Nassau County, NY

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Primary Care- NP - A leading GI practice is currently looking to employ an Advanced Practice Provider (NP) to treat pre and post procedure patients.

The Advanced Practice Provider will provide evaluations, diagnosis, care, and treatment and|or referral of patients for outpatient GI procedures. Work closely with the practice's GI physician and may have some Internal Medicine patients.

Provider should be comfortable treating conditions including Crohn's Disease, ulcerative colitis, hemorrhoids, abdominal pain, acid reflux, Barrett's Esophagus, Celiac Disease, colon cancer screenings, diarrhea, constipation, fatty liver, diverticulitis, gallstones, gluten intolerance, and more.

Some travel to surrounding PCP offices to evaluate patients is required. Full-time office position, Monday-Friday. No on-call or weekends required. Interest and experience must be in general GI, Family Practice, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or other IM specialties. Preferred : 2+ years of experience, willingness to be trained, fast learner type, team player. Excellent salary and complete package of benefits.
