Our client, a prestigious law firm recognized in the 2024 edition of Best Law Firms, is seeking an Of Counsel / Partner Attorney to join their Labor & Employment (L&E) Litigation team in Newport Beach.

This is a unique opportunity to take on a significant role within a well-respected practice, with no portable book of business required. The ideal candidate will be highly ambitious and eager to contribute to the firm's long-term succession plan.

Candidate Profile

JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record

Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing

9+ years of substantive experience in labor & employment litigation

Extensive experience handling all aspects of individual FEHA cases is required

Proven experience managing discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation

Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to manage complex cases independently

Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal and client management skills

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in complex L&E litigation matters, with a focus on individual FEHA cases

Manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial

Provide strategic counsel to clients on labor and employment compliance and risk mitigation

Work closely with clients to develop innovative legal strategies and solutions

Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary : $200,000 – $250,000, as determined by experience and market factors
