Summary : This remote PRN pharmacist position supports the Medication Assistance Program (MAP) Pharmacy team and works closely with appeals nurses, clinic staff, and providers. The position reports directly to the Clinical Pharmacy Manager for MAP Pharmacy Benefit Services.
Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include drafting appeal letters for prior authorization denials, submitting and following up on appeals with payers, and serving as a clinical resource for the team and its partners. Additional responsibilities may include care coordination, appeals data review and performance metrics, and education.
