Job descriptionCollaborate with regional sales teams and hospital stakeholders to increase procedure adoption and optimize clinical and operational outcomes. Support product introductions and software upgrades through consultative discussions focused on clinical and operational value. Track utilization performance metrics, report activity outcomes, and manage administrative tasks (e.g., reports, weekly plans, team calls, expense reporting). Work closely with Clinical Applications, Service, and Commercial teams to ensure a consistent user experience and alignment of best practices. Develop and refine educational tools and reference materials to enhance surgeon training, team consistency, and the clinical and commercial ecosystem. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and R&D teams to provide field insights and improve user experience. Contribute to national training initiatives and projects to expand surgeon education and program success. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, biomedical engineering, or a related field preferred. 3–5 years of experience in clinical applications, medical device consultative sales, or healthcare program support. Proven experience supporting or implementing technologies in surgical or imaging environments is preferred. Preference for 2+ years of experience in urologic oncology and / or ultrasound scanning in a patient care or procedural setting. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. High technical aptitude with the ability to teach and troubleshoot complex systems. Willingness to travel 50–60%, including overnight trips, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs for equipment setup.
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) to drive the adoption, integration, and effective use of our cutting-edge medical technology in healthcare settings. This role combines clinical expertise with consultative collaboration to partner with surgeons, administrators, and hospital teams, ensuring optimal outcomes, sustainable program growth, and long-term success for each site. The CAS will support clinical training, procedural workflows, and strategic utilization to enhance adoption and performance.
Essential Responsibilities
Clinical Support & Education
- Provide expert procedural support and workflow guidance to physicians and operating room (OR) teams during procedures.
- Support new site launches, guiding early adopters toward clinical independence.
- Deliver comprehensive training to physicians, nurses, sterile processing department (SPD) staff, and OR managers to ensure safe and proficient system use.
- Support professional education initiatives, including workshops, peer-to-peer training, and participation in medical society meetings.
