Job Description
PCG is seeking an experienced Payroll Tax Coordinator for its Corporate Hourly Payroll department based in Lenexa, KS . This individual will :
- Process payroll tax amendments
- Respond to and resolve jurisdictional inquiries and correspondence.
- Account registrations with taxing jurisdictions
- Work directly with payroll administrators to ensure proper employee setup in payroll software
- Work with payroll software provider to resolve system-generated tax calculation errors
- Research and resolve tax code fallouts from within the payroll system
- Conduct quarterly training sessions with payroll administrators.
- Assist with year-end processing
- Perform tax account reconciliations and resolve any exceptions
Requirements
Basic Requirements :
2-4 years of payroll tax experience2-4 years of experience in multi-state payroll tax reportingMinimum Requirements :
Must possess advanced proficiency with Microsoft OfficeAbility to communicate effectively across several teamsHigh attention to detailSelf-starter with a great ability to prioritizeGreat oral and written communicationExperience in excel outside of data entryPreferred Requirements :
