Senior Structural Engineer
Summary : Senior Structural Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in concrete and steel structural design, including foundation design.
Requirements :
BS or MS in Civil / Structural Engineering
5-10 years of relevant experience
Proficient in RISA or similar structural engineering software
Experience with geotechnical firms and interpreting geotechnical reports
Deep knowledge of structural design principles and applicable design codes
Preferred Skills :
Leadership experience in directing design teams and mentoring junior engineers
Proficiency in specification writing and creating bid packages
Strong client communication skills and ability to respond to construction inquiries
Familiarity with wind and seismic design
Responsibilities :
Lead structural design projects from concept through completion
Collaborate with geotechnical firms to incorporate findings into designs
Ensure compliance with all relevant design codes for concrete and steel structures
Mentor young engineers and direct drafting activities within the team
Pay Details : $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
