Physician / Psychiatry / North Carolina / Locum or Permanent / Inpatient Adult Psychiatry opening in Greenville, NC Job

Seeking BE / BC Psychiatrists to join 140+ bed inpatient behavioral health hospital. The new facility is expected to open spring of 2025 and will serve as a center of excellence dedicated to the mental health needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

• Growing 9-hosptial private not for profit healthcare system with locations across eastern North Carolina
• Opportunity available due to service line expansion
• Hospital privileges at one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina as well as at the new behavioral health hospital
• Academic appointment
• 7 on 7 off schedule - 7am-7pm
• Providers will be expected to participate in teaching of medical students and / or residents and if desired conduct research
• Referral network includes 29 county area with a population of 1.4 million people
• Opportunities exist for student loan repayment from the North Carolina Medical Society and The North Carolina Office of Rural Health
