Contract To Hire Position
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Cost Management
Review job contracts and gather documentation for job costing spreadsheets.
Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing budget to actual; research and explain variances.
Coordinate with project managers for progress billing and collections.
General Ledger & Month-End
Prepare general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist with month-end processes, account reconciliations, and propose corrections.
Set up and maintain entities (customers / vendors), including ACH information.
Review and approve vendor payments, with a preference for electronic payments.
Audit & Compliance
Prepare SOX audit documentation in accordance with audit timelines.
Ensure departmental alignment with established processes.
Review and analyze capital expenditures; perform fixed asset accounting (additions, depreciation, etc.).
Perform monthly accruals / amortization entries (bank fees, property tax, warranties, etc.).
Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing and recommending changes.
Inventory & Reporting
Monitor cycle count program to ensure guidelines are followed.
Review and process outbound freight invoices.
Maintain the inventory system with integrity and standardization.
Complete quarterly analysis on excess and obsolete part numbers / materials.
Prepare reports for managers and sales reps upon request.
Work Conditions
Must be available to work the Sunday of each month-end; the following Friday will be a scheduled day off.
Occasional overtime may be required.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Plano, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
