LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Pediatrics MD in Dickinson, North Dakota, 58601!

About The Position

Position Description
Seeking a Locum Pediatric / Neonatal provider to support inpatient pediatric and nursery coverage in a critical access setting. Provider will attend scheduled and emergent deliveries, perform newborn care procedures, and manage pediatric admissions.
Duties Include :
Attend vaginal deliveries (as requested) and all scheduled / emergent C-sections
Admit, discharge, and care for newborns and pediatric patients
Perform circumcisions, newborn resuscitations, intubations, UVC placements, and lumbar punctures
Collaborate with OB / GYNs, anesthesia, Level II nursery nurses, RTs, and local pediatricians
Consult with NICU (Bismarck, ND) as needed
Average Census : 2–3 patients per day
EMR : Meditech
Schedule / Availability
11 / 21 (7a) – 11 / 28 (7a)
12 / 17 (7a) – 12 / 23 (7a)
Ongoing coverage available into 2026
Approximately 7 days per month required
Emergency privileges available for November start

Requirements

Board Certified / Board Eligible (Highly Preferred)

Active ND or IMLC License (Required)

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP (Required)

Clean malpractice history (Required)

Availability at time of name clear (Required)

Travel & Lodging

Air Travel : Yes

Lodging : Preferred hotels (details to be confirmed)

Travel Notes : Include city of travel origin and any dietary / lodging exceptions in submission

Support Staff

Level II nursery nurses, anesthesia, OB / GYNs, respiratory therapists, and local pediatricians. NICU located 90 miles away in Bismarck with consulting physicians.

Credentialing

Emergency Privileges : Available for November start

Billing Enrollment : Services provided in lieu of an existing enrolled provider (
