Job Title : Licensed Practical Nurse

Location : Grand Rapids, MI

Duration : 3+ Months contract (possibility of extension)

Schedule Notes : Nights – 7 pm to 7 : 30 am, 12 hour / day, 36 hours / week. Weekend rotation : every other

Note : Non-taxable Per Diem is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility.

Duties :

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the RN / Mid-level Provider / Physician, consistent with policies and procedures, and unit-based routines.
• Informs patients and families about treatments and medications being received, equipment being utilized, and other related activities as appropriate, in coordination with the RN / Mid-level Provider / Physician.
• Communicates and collaborates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of service.
• Documents patient chargeable items according to standards.
• Recognizes appropriate and ethical behaviours and identifies resources for resolution as needed.
