Role Responsibilities :
Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures in the Cath Lab, under the supervision of the Cath Lab Supervisor and CV Services Director.Demonstrate knowledge of radiographic imaging, patient monitoring, and cardiac arrhythmias.Maintain sterile techniques and comply with safety protocols.Gather and analyze data for quality improvement and performance assessments.Participate in on-call rotation, responding to emergencies within 30 minutes.Qualifications Needed :
Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.Two years of experience in a Cath Lab may substitute for formal program completion.Current BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date and maintained thereafter.ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment.Preferred active RCIS or RT licensure.If a new graduate, credential must be attained within one year of eligibility.One year of relevant clinical experience may be accepted as part of the educational program.Research Medical Center is a hospital with over 585 beds, offering a wide range of medical services, including obstetrics, emergency services, and specialized care in trauma, stroke, and cardiac areas across multiple Kansas City locations.
