ThedaCare, Wisconsin's largest non-profit healthcare system is a proud partner in Connected for Kids, a pediatric joint venture between Childrens Wisconsin, Bellin Health and ThedaCare.  Together, were making a greater impact in the lives of children and teens by connecting families to the highest level of pediatric health and wellness services.  Through our partnership in Connected for Kids, we are able to improve the health and well-being of more children and teens in Northeast and Central Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We currently seek an Associate Medical Director for Childrens Wisconsin's Pediatric Urgent Care in Appleton, WI. This is an exciting new opportunity to build and grow your team in the booming Fox Cities!

• 1.0 FTE (0.75 clinical and 0.25 administrative)
• Call responsibilities no greater than 1 : 4
• Typically see 2-3 patients per hour
• Looking for someone with 5 years clinical experience as pediatric physician with prior leadership experience preferred
• Must be ABP Eligible or Certified

Pediatric Urgent Care is a booming field that is currently significantly in demand by families who are becoming more and more aware of quality when they seek after-hours medical care. Urgent care is seen as an extension of primary care, which helps us define the scope of practice, and strive to always support patients primary care medical home while preventing unnecessary visits to the emergency room for low acuity conditions. The Urgent Care team of pediatricians and APPs are committed to continuous learning and evidence-based practice, all focused on the goal of providing the best possible acute care for kids. Leadership is committed to supporting providers with educational opportunities, clinical practice supports, and data reporting all help to drive the quality of the care we deliver.  We take pride in our collaborative and inclusive culture and actively illicit feedback from providers and staff to help guide leadership decision making.
