Position Description
This position is located at various NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center sites in the Navy Southwest Region. This is a material movement and handling position within Department of Supply Chain Management.
The main mission of this department is to ensure the proper receipt, storage, transfer, inspection, and handling of material within department Warehousing to include classified, repairable, or pilferable material;
and responsible for the documentation, manual / automated record keeping, and accountability of material within their area of operation.
The primary purpose of this job is to perform a full range of warehousing duties with responsibility of handling or overseeing one or more product lines, a segment of a large warehouse, or serve as the senior employee in a smaller warehouse.
