Description

GAI Consultants, Inc is seeking an EIT 2 to work within our Civil and Environmental Business Sector. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment that will utilize their related experience to develop professionally and grow in today's global environment. This position is eligible for GAI's flexible Hybrid workplace place / Telework Policy and a Sign-on Bonus.

Job Duties :

• Plans, designs, and facilitates civil engineer project design tasks
• Undertakes technical and feasibility studies.
• Collaborates with other professionals and discusses requirements with clients.
• Uses computer programs to develop detailed designs.
• Ensures that work products meet client, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Performs work under professional engineering staff.
• Handles basic issues and problems but will refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possesses working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and civil engineering design tasks.
• Strong team collaboration, oral and written communication, design expertise, and problem-solving skills are required.
• This position requires local / regional travel and should be expected to be 20-40% (1-2 days per week as needed for project-related work / occasional overnight travel)
