HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Number of Beds – 8 L / D, 8 AP, 4 OBED, 3 PACU
  • Number of Staff –  42
  • Type of staff :

Day Shift – 1 Charge, 1 CAN / HUC, 1 OB Tech, 7 Staff RN

  • Night Shift – 1 Charge, 1 CN / HUC, 1 OB Tech, 6 Staff RN
  • Patient Ratios – 1 : 1, 1 : 2, 1 : 3 OBED
  • Type of equipment – Fetal Monitors
  • EMR – Meditech and CPN
  • Floating : Mothers Care & Post-Partum
  • Weekend / On Call Requirements : 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule. No call required.
  • Typical Procedures :

    • Vaginal Deliveries

  • Cesarean Sections

    • Must Haves :

  • An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred
  • A recent 12 months of L&D RN experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Previous AP experience
  • NV RN License
  • BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, and NRP Certifications

    • Preferred or Nice to Have :

  • Previous OBED experience
  • Previous CPN
  • MediTech Experience
  • Travel Experience
