Our client in Central Connecticut is looking to add a Physician Assistant to their neurosurgery team. This full-time position will work with 1 : 1 with an established neurosurgeon and team of providers. Previous neurosurgery or surgical experience is required.
Responsibilities :
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Mix of clinic / OR / hospital rounding
- No weekend or call requirements
- Brain and spine cases
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and recommend non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy or rehabilitation
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
